Jillian Noel Shennessy was born on 25th November, 1968 in Canada is a Canadian performer and actress who was honored for her outstanding contributions in American television. The actress has made a household name due to her portrayals as Claire Kincaid in Law & Order as well as Crossing Jordan. Hennessy is also famous for her outstanding performances in RoboCop 3 Most Wanted. Some other movies include Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) and The Acting Class. Her acting career started in 1988 when she and her sister acted as twin characters in Dead Ringers. She appeared briefly in Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story in Broadway in 1990. Then, in 1993 the actress left the realm of musicals, and into the science-fiction genre, playing Dr. Marie Lazarus. The big break for her was later in the year, when she was a part of the cast of the hit NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid.
