Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress best recognized for her role as a character in the Freeform the fantasy show Shadowhunters, and Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea pa' is enamored. Emeraude is also a talented dancer and model. She was born in Montreal and has resided in Texas from the time she was a child and has always enjoyed performing. Her training began in early in different forms. She began participating in beauty contests at the age of fifteen. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia achieved fame after she won a spot on Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. Toubia made her acting debut in 2010, portraying receptionist in the Telemundo TV show Aurora. The first film she appeared in was an action-drama called Tattooed Love in 2015. For her performance in Shadowhunters, Toubia was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi in 2017. She also won in 2018.
