Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name for Winona Laura Hoowitz, who was born within Winona Minnesota. She was named by her parents in honor of the town in which she grew as a child. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's dad came from the Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. The actress is also half-sister to Sunyata Jubal. Ryder's younger brother is Uria. When Ryder was just seven years old, her family relocated into Mendocino County California. In Mendocino County, they did not have electricity. Ryder who was an avid reader at the age of 12 became a book worm due to the fact that Ryder had no access to television. When she turned 12 years old, Ryder enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. In 1986 she landed her first major-screen appearance in the film Lucas she was only fifteen years old. Ryder was bullied in high school. Her hope was that the acting profession would change the way she dealt with bullying. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. But she continued to chase her goals. Her biggest break was in 1988 when she appeared in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was able to continue her successful performances in several movies. In 1993, he was nominated two times for the Academy Awards.
